Open Source Contributions
Bee is also involved in open source projects and communities such as the Fedora Project and Mozilla. She is also committed to improving diversity and inclusion in open source and is currently spearheading efforts of Fedora’s Diversity and Inclusion Team in this direction.
In Fedora, she is involved with the Diversity and Inclusion and Community Operations (CommOps) teams. She is a founding member of both teams and helps lead various initiatives in the Diversity and Inclusion Team. Some of her accomplishments include data analytics tools in Python to understand community activity, engagement, and overall health. She also works on developing strategies to positively impact diversity and inclusion in the Fedora community. Additionally, she has participated as a mentor for Google Summer of Code for over three years
In Mozilla, she worked with the Open Innovation and Participation Team to advise Mozilla leadership on a global diversity and inclusion strategy. You can read more about her work at Mozilla under professional experience section
